Have any of you ever tried "Puppy Chow"? I was first introduced to it when I was a little girl and one of my best friends mothers made it for us. It was so delicious and I could not wait for more.
I haven't had "Puppy Chow" for some time now, but when I was contacted by MyBlogSpark to review the Chex Party Mix Gift Pack, I knew exactly what I would be doing with the Chex cereal. When I received the gift pack I headed to the store for the ingredients needed for Puppy Chow!
Puppy Chow Recipe
9 cup Chex
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Put cereal in large bowl.
Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour over Chex cereal
Put into a large plastic bag with powdered sugar and shake well to coat.
Spread mixture evenly on wax paper and allow to cool.

It was as delicious as I had remembered and my kids LOVED it!

We love Cajun Chex Mix. Got the recipe years ago from a friend, but I think she got it off a Chex Box. It uses Louisiana Hot Sauce instead of Worcestershire and has French Fried Onions - it is sooooooooo hot and soooooooooo good!!
