, you may not have to wonder anymore. Hickem offers seven principles to help maintain a strong, lifelong relationship with your children. These principles include understanding your purpose, knowing and affirming your child, being a vision keeper, developing emotional intelligence, maintaining your position, addressing your fear and being God-dependent.I really enjoyed this book; there were several times where I had to put the book down and wipe my tears. But that's just me; I can be a huge sap sometimes. The greatest thing I learned from this book was to look into the future. Not to just think about the here and now; but to think about the long term when it comes to my children and the people they will become.
