It's here! Fall is finally upon us; which means leaves, boots, scarves, and pumpkin spice everything! Fall is easily my favorite season and my kids love it as well! There are so many amazing things to do during the Fall around the Wichita area that it is hard to keep track of it all; so I've compiled a list of some of our families favorite Fall activities.
Apple Picking - My family adores Steffens Orchard at 1345 West 90th Avenue North, Conway Springs, Kansas. This orchard is so lovely; be sure to request an apple picker to help the young ones and don't forget to stop inside for a delicious apple cider! Unfortunately, I believe a hard freeze has limited the apples this season; but be sure to keep them in mind for next year!
Pumpkin Patch - Wichita has so many to choose from!
AppleJack Pumpkin Patch -
Saturday, September 26 -
Bergmann Corn Maize -
Walters Pumpkin Patch
Klausmeyer Dairy Farm
and many many more!
Pumpkins at the Park -
October 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th & 30th
Go and enjoy an amazing night at Tanganyika Wildlife Park! Trick or treat along the pumpkin trail, play ghoulish games, listen to a "spooky" tale at the isle of intrigue or jump in the inflatables. There is never a dull moment when you attend Pumpkins at the park.
Should your little ones get cold or tired; head inside to warm up with hot cocoa or apple cider (additional charge) while watching a classic kids Halloween movie.
Be sure to check out the shows put on as well; Dr. Frank 'n Steins lab (every 20 minutes) or the waterfall light show put to music!
Night of the living Zoo - October 23, 24 & 25, 2015: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Try to find your way through the Library's haunted maze! Enjoy spooky stories and make a craft. Halloween dress is optional. For children ages 3 and up. Stories are at 1:30, 2, 2:30, 3, and 3:30.
